What health insurance plans do you accept?
Medical services are provided and billed internally. Our doctors participate in most all of the major health insurance plans in the region. Following are the health plans which we currently accept (including but not limited to):
- Medicare
- AARP*
- Blue Cross
- Humana
- United Health Care
- Coventry
- Cigna
- PHCS
- Aetna
- Tri Care
*Accepted only as secondary insurance to Medicare Patients.
If your plan is not listed, please contact your insurance carrier to find out if our doctors are in network.
What is your payment policy?
Please be aware that with any health plans, there may be deductibles and co-payments for which you could be responsible. Your copay and any outstanding balance is due at time of service.
What billing or insurance information will I receive?
Copays and outstanding balances are due at time of service. Statements are sent out monthly with any outstanding balance that might be due.
How long will it take to get things settled with the insurance company?
Generally, it takes from 3-4 weeks to obtain payment from an insurance carrier.
I received a notice that my insurance company has paid on my bill, but I can't understand how they calculated their payment amount.
If we have received any such information from your insurance company, we’ll be glad to share it with you. However, for answers to any questions about insurance payments, deductibles, or co-payments, you generally need to check with your insurance company.
